Last time we saw a collaboration between producer Stefon “Bionik” Taylor and rapper Lizzo, the two created “My Skin,” a glittering, emotional ballad to body-positivity, which Lizzo describes as “a summoning of bodies: All shapes, sizes, and shades to unite in their pride, and wear their skin like the gift it is”.

Today the duo are back for round two, and this isn’t any ballad. “Ball Like Beijing” is a full-on banger, with Bionik’s syncopated bass punctuating each of Lizzo’s seething rhymes. It’s the first taste of Bionik’s next solo effort, an EP called The Way I Be, which, after hearing this new anthem, we can only be expect to be the soundtrack to your next party. Evan Siegel
